Middle East Tensions

The phrase middle east tensions seems to puzzle me. Isn't there always tension? Hasn't there always been tension? So it should be referred to as Middle East Normal in my view. And in the normal status of the middle east, I think that everyone is insane. Syria is obviously an instigator like it's big brother, Iran. Lebanon is a hopeless country ruled by other nations and Islamic extremists. Israel seems to be on the losing side of everything these days. And with all this, I am not surprised by any of it.

Iran is ruled by an idiot that wants to wipe Israel off the map but won't commit to war. That to me is chicken. Why say things you aren't willing to back up? If you want nuclear weapons, go for it. Stick 'em out there and don't be afraid. If you are afraid, you have good reason to be. The United States will not let that happen. We have a few military tools at our disposal that could halt the nuclear weapons process that Iran wants to have.

And Syria? Please. Syria is the red-headed step-child of the middle east. Not strong enough to flex some muscle, too stupid to realize that. Both Iran, Syria and the Islamic extremists are all COWARDS. If you want a fight, let us know. I'd be happy to lend a hand and educate you on the world works nowadays. Democracy is not perfect but it is better than all other alternatives. Israel knows this and fights for this.

I do wish that the Billions of US dollars that we (taxpayers) contribute to the Israelis would have some sort of benefit to us here in the United States. To me it is like the dog that bites the hand that feeds it. I respect all cultures that respect mine. But when I pay money to Israel (by way of my TAXES) I hope to see people more grateful and less disrespectful on Fox News. Israel has the right to defend itself as does everyone else. I just wish there was less bad-mouthing of US policy coming from a very small nation that gets more money from us than anyone else.

Lebanon will be free again soon I think. And, I'm pretty sure it will need to be a UN issue. In my opinion Israel should be restrained and Hamas, Hezbollah and every other terrorist group should be eliminated until they put down their arms and agree to work at peace.

"The Wall"

I'm not referring to the Pink Floyd album or the one that divided that town in that country in Europe. It's not Christmas time but if the White House were to ask me what I want, I would have to say without hesitation... "The wall."

Illegal immigration has to stop sometime and why not now? Is there something that I am missing in the debate about building a wall between the United States and Mexico? And don't get me wrong, I am for a wall between us and Canada too, as long as it comes after the completion of the one on our southern border. Just let me know where to report and I'll help build it.

I know this seems a bit drastic to you Senator McCain, but then again you don't really have any interest in this do you? Wait a minute! YES you do. Arizona is a favorite crossing place for illegal immigrants, smugglers and drug traffickers coming to the United States from Mexico. If you are gearing up for a 2008 presidential bid, don't you think you should aim for more votes than the 12 million illegal immigrants already living within our borders. And remember, they can't vote! At least not yet.

We in California seem to be the most overwhelmed and the most in need for some sort of reform. We are also full of most of the country's idiots. (Yes, you senators from New York, Massachusetts and Arizona are the exception) It's people from my state that want God removed from, um.... Well everything. We are also the ones that have allowed illegals to get drivers licenses. But wait, there is a bright light in this great state! Our governor is not afraid to speak his mind and favors all means to stop illegal immigration. Why isn't anyone else?

Well I am. Build the wall, electrify it if needed. Stop Illegal Immigration Now. You'll notice I am only referring to ILLEGAL Immigration and not the kind that strengthens our country and that of another.

Let me put it in a way you can understand. To kidnap a little girl is illegal. We have sent thousands of people to help search and create tough new legislature to keep this from happening. Now look up the definition of ILLEGAL. It is against the law to come into the United States without Visa, citizenship or sponsor. Where are the thousands of people wanting reform in the courts?

Build it.

Wiretaps and Democrats

Okay, so could someone please tell me what the alleged HUGE issue with wiretaps on private American citizens is?? Let's ask ourselves a few questions and think real hard about your answer.

1. Do we want another terrorist attack like September 11th or Oklahoma City?
2. Do we want to send even more troops and American citizens to foreign soil?
3. Do we enjoy being a nation that is so great that people actually break into?

If you answered YES to any of the questions above you are feeling the same way I am. I also feel that if we need to tap some phone lines to keep from seeing Americans in pain or dead then it is worth every one. I'll be the first to sign up, where can I get my phone tapped? I saw everyone with flags and candles on September 12th but I don't see anyone with their cell phones walking into the nearest FBI or NSA office to be "tapped."

I will admit that it isn't only democrats that are on this retro-hippie caravan of nonsense. I am never surprised to see the Senator from Arizona on the far left of the right. And so I ask the question again, what is the problem with Americans being "tapped?" If there is nothing to hide why can there not be transparency? Are the people who are crying about this scared of something?

What is there to lose? Is your phone not going to work the same? Are you afraid that "Big Brother" will over hear you call in sick to work and then report you for calling your friend to head to the beach??

The freedom from fear is far greater than the freedom of a phone call being private.
